DeAnna Lee Wintheiser went to be with the Lord September 12, 2017. Born in San Angelo, Texas on December 12, 1978 to Joel and Denise Wintheiser; she now reunites with her grandpas Richard Morgan and Edward Wintheiser. She is survived by the love of her life, her son, Joel Wintheiser, her parents, brother Rick and wife Gloria, nephew Jacob Wintheiser, niece Amberly Wintheiser; grandmas Donna Morgan and JoAnn Wintheiser of Minnesota, Uncles: Dan, .Doug, Tom, Terry, Don, Mike, Mark, Christopher, Alan, Dale, Jeff; aunts: Dawn, Darcy, Pam, Kim, Ann, Judy, Melody; extended family members: Gloria and David Evans, Michael, Kimberly, Tyler and Kenzie Chapman; and numerous cousins and friends. DeAnna moved to San Antonio in 1985 while in the first grade. She had a contagious personality and enjoyed being social; in her eyes, she never met a stranger. DeAnna loved being fashionable and engaging in social scenes with great music. She had a great sense of humor and most often thought the funniest thing ever was seeing someone trip and fall-provided they weren't injured in the process! She loved playing pranks, watching funny movies and just acting silly with her precious son. Although her light shined bright, DeAnna battled a prescription drug addiction off and on for many years. If she were here today she would want her family and friends to know that battling an addiction harms not only yourself, but everyone around you who loves and cares about you. One constant in her life, was the undeniable love she had for her son Joel. He was the best part and biggest accomplishment of her lifetime. He was her pride and joy and she will always live on in his heart.
